New Here?

New in church?Welcome! We’re so glad that you are interested in our family at Empty Hands Bible Church.

Why Empty Hands?

Augustine said, “God gives where He finds empty hands.” We come empty handed to the Father to accept His gift of grace and salvation. No amount of “good works” would ever be enough. We only have to empty our hands and receive this free gift from Jesus Christ.

As a multi-ethnic body of believers, we not only come to God empty handed, we come together with empty hands as well. In deference to each other, we humbly ask, “How do you worship the Lord? What’s your church heritage? What is your heart language?” It is our passionate desire to “Outdo one another in showing honor” (Rom. 12:10 ESV). As Scott Williams said, this is not a Black, White, Asian, or Hispanic church, its God’s church. We want to cross the cultural bridge together, meeting on the common ground of the Gospel.

We meet in The Hub on SUNDAY NIGHTS from 5-7 p.m. to praise the Lord together. All are welcome. There is no dress code, just come as you are. You don’t have to clean up your clothes or your life to come in!

We usually spend a good amount of time in prayer, singing, testimonies, and study through the Word of God.
